Purpose
The Converter Searcher, included with SearchUI, determines whether items are posted that can be easily transformed into their other forms and sold at a profit. e.g. Greater Essences morphed into Lesser Essences
Available Settings
There are a number of options available to help you narrow the results to those you find useful.
- Simple 'tick boxes' to enable or disable that option.
- 'Sliders' are used to allow a value between fixed limits.
- 'Drop down lists' allow a choice between available fixed options.
- 'Direct entry boxes' allow the user to enter any numerical value.
Profit
These two settings are cumulative. If both are set, then an item needs to meet both the set amount and the percent before it will be displayed in the results/manifest list.
Minimum Profit -direct entry box- Allows you to choose the minimum profit you require for an item to be valid for the Searcher in Gold, Copper, Silver (GSC) format.
Min Discount -slider- Allows you to choose the amount, by percent, that an item is marked down from its "going rate".
Include in search
- Essence: Greater <> Lesser - tick box- include or exclude the conversion of Essences between their two forms.
- Mote <> Primal - tick box- include or exclude the conversion of Motes to Primals.
- Crystallized <> Eternal - tick box- include or exclude the conversion of ??s between their two forms.
- Depleted Items - tick box- include or exclude depleted items.
Allow Bids -tick box- Allows you to see auctions you can bid on.
Allow Buyouts -tick box- Allows you to see auctions you can buyout.
Enable individual maximum price -direct entry box- Allows you to enter the maximum amount you are willing to bid on, or buy, an item for.
Fees Adjustment section
These work to ensure you meet the Minimum profit set depending on which fees you would like to take into account.
Subtract auction fees -tick box- include or exclude the auction fee for posting your converted item.
Subtract deposit cost -tick box- include or exclude the deposit cost for posting your auction.
Subtract deposit cost -drop down list- change the duration you want to post your auction for. Changes the deposit cost.
Average relistings -slider- allows you to take into account the number of time you might have to relist the auction for before item is sold.
Appraiser Value Origination section
Use Market Matched -tick box- When enabled, will use the Matchers currently active from within the Appraiser frame. If disabled, the matching settings are ignored.
Use buyout not bid -tick box- If you disable this option, the value from the Bid box in auctioneer is used instead of the buyout value.
Notes
Converter Searcher uses only one method for valuations, Appraiser. The Appraiser valuation depends on which pricing model is set for the item of interest in the Appraiser module of Auctioneer.
Converter only checks the value of the item that you want to convert to, and compares this to the bid/buyout prices of the auction under consideration. (i.e. the value of the actual item on the auction house is irrelevant to converter).
